On 25th April 2026, we held our very first FND HBH in-person support group, and it was everything we hoped it would be and more. The turnout honestly exceeded all expectations, and it genuinely felt like the beginning of something truly meaningful.
Seeing people walk through the door, some nervous, some unsure, but all showing incredible strength just by being there, was truly special. From the moment people arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Jordan and Skye did an incredible job hosting, making sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and supported. Their calm, friendly energy set the tone for the whole evening and helped people settle in straight away, whether they came along with someone or arrived on their own.
The room quickly filled with conversation, understanding, laughter, and support. People who had never met before were connecting, sharing experiences, and realising they were not alone in what they face every day. There was no pressure, no judgement, just a calm and welcoming space where everyone could be themselves.
To help everyone feel at home, we had a small refreshment set-up with a choice of squash, tea, or coffee, so people could grab a drink, take a breath, and ease into the space at their own pace. On the tables we also laid out artwork from our colouring books, which added a really nice personal touch and gave the room a relaxed, creative feel.
We made sure there were plenty of activities available too, with diamond art for anyone who wanted something hands-on to focus on, along with bags of fidget toys for those who find them helpful. Having those options there made a real difference, because it meant people could chat, listen, or simply take part quietly without any pressure. It created a supportive environment where everyone could engage in whatever way felt right for them.
We also ran a bingo game for everyone attending in person, and we made sure our virtual members could join in too through our WhatsApp group. Including the wider community like that was a big part of what made the evening feel special, because it reminded us that support does not have to be limited by location. Whether someone was in the room or joining from home, they were still part of the moment.
What started as an idea, built from lived experience, has now become something real. A community. A place where people feel seen, heard, and understood.
We are so proud of every single person who attended. You made this what it was. We are so grateful to everyone who came, took part, and helped create such a supportive vibe, and we are really looking forward to seeing how these meet ups grow from here.
This is only the beginning of FND HBH, and we are so grateful to be building this together.

I travelled down from Scotland as I wanted to be there for the 1st opening and meet alot of friends id met through tiktok, some id spoke to for years and met some new friends too. The turnout was absolutely amazing, I dont think they expected as big a turnout as there was. It went fantastic and to sit and watch others talking and know they were not alone was heartwarming. Thank you Jordan & skye for setting up something thats truly needed and the awareness it brings fnd is phenomenal 👏 xx
Thank you so much for travelling all the way from Scotland to be there with us 🧡 It honestly meant the world to finally meet so many people face to face after years of connecting online through TikTok and the FND community.
Seeing everyone talking, supporting each other and realising they were not alone was such an emotional and heart-warming moment for us too. The turnout completely blew us away and showed just how needed spaces like this truly are.
Thank you for being part of our journey and helping us spread awareness for FND. Messages like this remind us exactly why we started FND HBH in the first place — Healing, Belonging & Hope for everyone affected by FND.
We’re so grateful for your support and cannot wait to continue growing this community together 🧡
